A couple of things about us.

I borrowed this idea from Miss Ria, a fellow Michigan blogger. She shared lots of fun facts about her relationship and I thought it might be fun to do the same.

To accompany the random tidbits about Jason and myself I've decided to include the first picture ever taken of us, complete with splotchy skin, red eyes, and our work bulletin board in the background.

What are your middle names?

Paul and Elizabeth. He hates his middle name, and I don't understand why.

How long have you been together?

Since February 2009.

How long did you know each other before you started dating?

About 8 months.

Who asked out whom?

He asked me out, after lots o' flirting.

What is your age difference?

5 years.

What is hardest for you as a couple?

Hmm. I like to talk about my feelings and he likes to watch football. We both try to suffer through each other's chosen activity.

Whose family do you see the most?

Probably mine. I wish we got to spend more time with his family, but it's hard to coordinate everyone's schedules.

Did you go to the same school?

Actually yes, but we didn't know each other and that's not how we met.

Are you from the same hometown?

Yes again. Small world!

Who is the smart one?

I was the "good student," but he is incredibly smart.

Who is the most sensitive?

The Ellen Degeneres show makes me cry. Does that answer the question?

What is the furthest distance you've traveled as a couple?

Chicago so far. Soon to be the Caribbean!

Who has the craziest exes?

We haven't really had any experiences with any of our exes.

Who has the worst temper?

We both have them, but his is worse.

Who does the cooking?

I love to cook (and bake!) but since we've spent most of our time at his place, he tends to play chef more often. The man has skills, I don't see why I shouldn't let him use them.

Who is the neat freak?

I set something down and come back a minute later to find it's been put away. "I was going to use that!" is often heard 'round these parts.

Who is more stubborn?
That's a toughie. It depends on the situation I suppose.

Where was your first date?

The Melting Pot. My mouth is watering just thinking about the cheese and chocolate!

Who is more jealous?

He doesn't seem to have an ounce of jealousy in him, which is nice. I'm the one who had the ex-girlfriend insecurity, although I've gotten over that. For the most part. It's a girl thing.

Who eats more?

Definitely Jason. However, having grown up with a brother I'm used to buying groceries and having them disappear.

Who does the laundry?

I've done my own laundry for years, but I'll admit Im a wee bit intimidated by his fancy shmancy front load washer and dryer.

Who drives when you're together?

He does 95% of the time, even if it's in my car.

Who's better with the computer?
The man uses the computer to check his work email and bank statements. That's it. Opposites do attract!

Where do you eat out the most as a couple?

I think the only place we've gone to more than once is the Melting Pot. It's fun to try new places!
