Welcome to my blog! I'm Lauryn, a 20-something living in in Metro Detroit. I was born and raised in Michigan and I can't imagine living anywhere else. I love to travel and I plan to see the world, but this will always be home.

Although I feel like I'm eternally a few classes away from my Bachelor's Degree, I love to learn and try new things. Photography is one of my favorite hobbies, and it's something I try to learn more about every day.

I'm very close to my family and I'd be lost without my amazing friends. I'm also head-over-heels for a guy named Jason, who you'll hear me talk about quite often on this blog.

I believe in honesty, karma, and recycling. I'm stubborn as can be, but I'm always up for a friendly debate. I love to feed people, so if you ask me to bake you something I probably will. I'm a domestic goddess at heart, but in real life I occasionally burn rice and I've been known to be a bit of a slob.

I love to feel connected to the world around me, which is part of why I adore blogging. There are endless stories to tell, lessons to learn, and ideas to share.
